Christina Aid Ethiopia was formally set up in 1997 and registered with the Ethiopian Ministry of Justice and the Disaster Prevention and preparedness commission in 1999 and was reregistered in 2009 as per ACSO Proclamation. The Program work that Christian Aid in Ethiopia operates encompasses mainly Climate Adaptation Resilience and Gender Justice while it works on Peace building & community-led humanitarian actions, and People-Centered Advocacy for Accountable Governance as cross-cutting areas. Christian Aid is a member of Actions by Churches together (ACT Alliance). Christian Aid Ethiopia follows partnership approach(working through local and international organizations) to implement its programs and projects. The Organization believes that indigenous or locally based Non-Governmental Organizations are best placed and the most able to work with the local community for a better future.
In response to the government regulation which requires Civil Societies Charities to announce a call for the audit firm on newspaper and for the sake of transparency in the process, it has been necessary for Christian Aid Ethiopia to make this announcement. Therefore, Christian Aid Ethiopia is looking for an eligible audit firm to conduct audit for the organization for the year ended December 31, 2023.

Required Qualification and Experience
Education: Accounting, Finance and Related Feilds
Qualifications and experiences of the Audit firm’s team;
Classified as higher grade by the relevant Authorizing Agency;
Tax payer identification number & VAT registration evidence;
Copies of renewed trade license and commercial registration certificates issued by the relevant Authority;
Evidence/s of Work experiences and a proven track record of successfully conducting auditing of IPSAS based Financial statements for other organizations;
Copy of recent document/s testifying the settlement of the necessary government taxes;
Time frame to complete the audit and,
Audit fee to be charged for the audit service.
