It is a part of Gift Group, which was established by its founder and MD, Ato Gebreyesus Igata, during the mixed economic era. Ato Gebreyesus Igata has had a long-standing interest in business and has gained experience in other countries.
GRE was established in 2005 and has been involved in developing and selling real estate properties. Starting a real estate business at that time was challenging due to limited government experience, lack of local customers, and high failure rates of real estate companies. It took us about 2 years to complete the establishment process and acquire land plots. GRE obtained a 160,000 m2 land plot from AA City Administration, making us one of the sector’s pioneers.
