Job Position – IT Officer (Re-advert)

Required Qualification and Experience
Education: BSC/MSC in computer science, Information Technology, or other related fields
2 years of relevant experience with the first degree.
1 years of relevant experience plus a post-graduate degree.
Relevant Experience :

Relevant experience in Networking, System Administration, Database Management and IT Support
CISCO, MCSE or Other certifications/trainings in Information Communication Technology, Trainings on Advanced/specialized computer applications are advantages
LAN administration and Windows Server 2008 experience.
NGO experience is a plus.

Major Responsibilities:
Ensure all IRC standard software are installed on every IRC computers
Support staff in Network, Hardware and software issues
Make sure the Network Infrastructure is properly functioning.
Ensure IRC Computers are Safe and Virus Protected
Frequently monitor the internet usage of the office Internet connection.
Support Procurement officers in Identifying the right IT related equipment’s purchase
Follow up on IT related equipment maintenance in collaboration with other units
Prepare field visit program/schedule and implement it.
Remotely Check KACE machines in the field and include their status in the weekly report.
Frequently travel to the field for IT support visit as planned and as the need arise.
Take IRC computer inventory audit report periodically.
Keep track of helpdesk tickets and assign them to the responsible staff
Manage Melkadida/Dollo Ado Offices’ network including the Servers,Aps and PABX system
Follow up if internet connection is not working or when there is slow connection.

Install and maintain Local-area networks (LAN), which includes all field offices in IRC Ethiopia Program.
Installing and configuring network devices like Print Server, Switch/Hubs, Router and cabling (Class B).
Configure a computer to connect to the local area network.
Installing and configuring network software on a server.

Job Position 2 – Finance Manager

Required Qualification and Experience
Education: degree in accounting, business administration, commerce or finance or similar relevant qualification

Preferred experience & skills:
4 years of relevant experience with the first degree and 3 years of relevant experience for post graduate degree.
At least 1-year managerial experience.
Minimum three years of finance experience in an international NGO with a computerized accounting system such as INTEGRA system is required.
NGO experience in Finance is a must.
Mandatory Committed to the mission and principles of the International Rescue Committee, Excellent computer skills including word processing and spreadsheet functions, excellent organizational and multi-tasking skills, attention to detail, ability to communicate clearly and work under pressure to meet deadlines.
Experience in integra systems accounting software, willing to travel to field sites as required.

Preferred:
Familiarity with donor budgeting formats ( BHA, Lego foundation and Irish Aid, etc)
Strong organizational skills.
Proven management skills.
Experience in working with multicultural and diversified workforce.
Excellent representational skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work under pressure and attention to details.
Fluent spoken and written English.
Computer literate: MS Word, Excel, Power point, outlook
Language Skills:
Fluency in English is required, ability in local language is advantageous.
