Job Position 2 – Market Linkages Specialist

Required Qualifications and Experience
Education: Bachelor/Master’s degree in one of the following: Agriculture/Agribusiness, Economics; Business Administration; Horticulture, and/or related field;
Experience: 3 years working experience in developing and facilitating market linkages and business advisor ship; Proven work experience in market systems development and facilitation.

Technical & Social Skills
Able to use and utilize MS office applications.
Strong analytical and risk assessment skills.
Serious and hard-working, eager to learn, good feedback mentality, result oriented, taking responsibility and accountability, good in building and maintaining relations key partners and negation skills.
Flexible and autonomous working, enthusiastic and willing to travel
Written and Spoken fluency of English, Amharic and Afan Oromo. Knowing the local language Afan Oromo is a strict requirement

Job Position 3 – Market Analyst

Required Qualifications and Experience
Education: Degree/MSC; in a quantitative discipline, such as statistics, marketing, business administration, Agriculture, economics, cooperative management, Agricultural Extension, Rural Development, related studies required
Experience:Minimum of 3 years of professional experience on data collection and analysis, research, market strategy development, business plan development.

Excellent analytical, research, and communication skills
Proficiency in analytical software, such as SAS, SPSS, and Google Analytics, as well as Microsoft Office Suite
Familiarity with survey tools, and databases.
Ability to communicate complex information in an easy-to-understand format
Strong preference for candidates from a management consulting private sector background
Demonstrated experience in both qualitative and quantitative market research
Very strong attention to details and commitment to high quality, error-free end products
Ability to develop well written, cohesive analyses and reports quickly and efficiently;
Strong analytical and financial analysis skills;
Strong planning skills and experience working to strict time-guidelines;
Excellent oral and written communication skills and project reporting skills a must;
Fluency in Amharic, English and one SNNPR/Sidama language
Knowledge of SNNPR/Sidama language is a plus;
Willingness to be based in Hawassa
