Youth Network for Sustainable Development (YNSD) is a non-governmental non-profit making indigenous organization, which was established by four school clubs and fifteen Youth associations with the vision to see Ethiopian Youth as capacitated, productive, self-reliant and healthy agents of sustainable development. The major program areas of YNSD are Youth Empowerment, Information and Communication Technology (ICT), Sexual Reproductive Health and HIV/AIDS, and Environment specifically on climate change.
Youth Network for Sustainable Development (YNSD) in partnership with Amref Health Africa implements the Integrated Youth Activity/Kefeta program in Adama, Bishoftu, and four sub-cities in Addis Ababa. Kefeta envisions Ethiopian youths who are game changers: empowered to advance their own economic, civic, and social development; resilient in the face of shocks; actively promoting development within their communities and contributing to the country’s peace and prosperity. Kefeta will strengthen the youth ecosystem in Ethiopia with integrated, multi-sectoral, youth-centered programming aligned with the Positive Youth Development (PYD) approach.

Job Position – Program Coordinator
Required Qualification and Experience
Education: Bachelor’s Degree/MPH, MA in Sociology, project management, economics, law, or other related social science fields an MA/BA degree in similar social science fields is preferable.
Experience: Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in an NGO setting.
Skills
Strong commitment to working with young boys and girls issues.
Track record in project management, reporting, and information material development
Demonstrated skills and significant experience in advocacy projects
Experience in workshop/training, campaign/events organizing
Proficiency in the English language both written and spoken
Able to establish and strengthen networks with international and local youth-led, youth-focused organizations
