Job Position 1 – Manager, Card Payment Services

Required Qualification and Experience
Education: Bachelor’s/ BSc. degree or master’s degree in Information Technology/Computer Science, Computer/Software engineering, Business Information Systems, or any other relevant fields.
Experience: At least 6 years relevant experience with 2 years as Section Head Level Or Manager I/C

Job Description
This position is responsible for managing local and international payment card gateways, and payment card acceptance.

Major duties of the Manager, Card Payment Services
Manage ATM and POS configuration from switch end as well terminal level
Administer the proper operation of ATM and POS switches /servers.
Monitor and Administer the Bank’s ATM and POS activities including preventive and corrective maintenance of ATM (Software and hardware level) and
Maintain, monitor and follow-up Sparrow POS switched/Server
Configure and maintain of POS Merchants in Sparrow POS server
Ensure end to end (switch –terminal) service continuity
Manages interbank transactions’ routing that occurs through ATM and POS terminals
Monitor transactions run on ATMs and POS terminals and analyze the impact
Provide technical support of ATM and POS deployment
Provide technical support for transaction dispute resolutions team
Prepare technical requirements of ATM and POS terminals
Perform Technical evaluation and technical inspection for ATM and POS Terminals
Prepares and submit activities and progress report of the Division
Review and submits the annual operating budget and work program of the Division and follow up proper implementation of the same
Evaluates the performance of staff members directly responsible to her/him
Perform other related duties as may be assigned by the Supervisor
Manage local and international payment card gateways, and payment card acceptance
Provide cryptographic facilities that are required to implement key management, message authentication, and PIN encryption in real-time online environments for the card-based channels.
Manage maintenance of all cards (debit; prepaid; VISA; Mastercard; and other national cards)-related information and cardholder queries and requests.
Administer connections of gateway Routers to the Visa; MasterCard and national networks/switches.
Maintain customer card details in the switch database.
Oversee handling of card type upgrades and downgrades in the process of reissuing.
Oversee preventive and corrective maintenance of card production machines, and card world production systems.
Manage implementation of Card banking policy and procedures, and manuals

Job Position 2 – Sr. Officer, Training and Development

Required Qualification and Experience
Education: Bachelor’s in Management, Human Resources Management, Business Administration, Public Administration, or related fields.
Experience: At least 4 years relevant experience with 2 years as Officer level I or equivalent

Job Description
This position is responsible for monitoring and carrying out talent development and training needs assessment, identifying training programs and schedules. trainers and follow-up proper execution of their obligations.

Major duties of the Senior Officer, Training and Talent Development
Compile the skill inventory of the Bank’s employees and periodically updates the database.
Conduct the training and development need analysis and identify training and development needs in line with the strategy.
Undertake analysis and compiles profiles of potential trainers for in-house, domestic and abroad trainings
Avail resources. follows-up the training programs implementation, monitors daily training delivery performance, assesses trainees’ reaction, assesses training evaluation reports and recommends solutions based on feedback received.

Actively participate in management development, young graduate trainee, leadership programs and other programs. coordinate both internal and external training and follow-up proper execution of both on and off the job training.
Periodically reviews and follows-up the effective and efficient utilization of training budgets and reports same to the supervisor.
Conduct induction and orientations for new recruits of the Bank per the induction and orientation manual of the Bank.  …etc
