Job Position-Communications & Outreach Specialist
Required Qualification and Experience
Education:Hold a Master’s degree in Communications, Journalism, Media Studies, Public Relations, Development Studies, Social Sciences, or a closely related field.
Research Background: Demonstrated background or experience in research, with the ability to understand, interpret, and communicate research and evaluation findings accurately.
Language: Native English speaker (required); excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to produce polished, publication-ready content.
Digital Skills: Proven experience managing websites (e.g., WordPress or similar content management systems) and professional social media accounts (e.g., LinkedIn).
Design Skills: Strong ability to create visually appealing presentations and communication materials; proficiency in PowerPoint and familiarity with design tools (e.g., Canva, Adobe Creative Suite) is an advantage.
Interpersonal Skills: Confident and professional presence, with strong networking abilities and experience representing an organization in external meetings and events.
Organizational Skills: Excellent attention to detail, time management, and the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines independently.
