Required Qualification and Experience
Education:Master’s degree (MSc) in Animal Breeding, Animal Science, Genetics, or a closely related field.
Preferred: Ph.D. in Quantitative Genetics or Livestock Breeding.
Experience:5+ years of progressive experience managing livestock breeding programs or technical agricultural projects.
Direct experience with Community-Based Breeding Programs (CBBPs), AI technologies, or genomic selection projects is strongly preferred.

Job Position-5 General Manager – Genetic Improvement
Required Qualification and Experience
Education:Master’s or PhD in Animal Breeding and Genetics.
Acceptable Alternative Qualifications:
Animal Science with specialization in Animal Breeding.
Quantitative Genetics or Livestock Genomics.
Veterinary Medicine only if complemented by postgraduate specialization in Animal Breeding, Genetics, or Reproductive Biotechnology, with significant experience in genetic improvement programs.
Experience M.Sc 12 years above, PhD 10 years and above
Extensive experience in livestock breeding and genetic improvement programs.
Strong knowledge of genetic evaluation, breeding program design, and selection strategies.
Experience with performance recording, breeding databases, and genetic analysis.
Demonstrated leadership and project management experience.
