Job Position- Senior Sales Representative
Required Qualification and Experience
Education:Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Marketing, Business Administration, Management, Economics, or related fields.
Minimum of 4-5 years of hands-on, field-based sales experience — preferably in fintech, financial services, insurance, telecom, or B2B sales.
Proven track record of consistently meeting or exceeding personal sales targets in a field sales environment.
Experience selling to associations, cooperatives, community-based organizations, or small businesses is a strong advantage.
Familiarity with mobile money platforms (Telebirr, M-Pesa, CBE Birr, etc.) is desirable.
Skills
Exceptional communication and persuasion skills in both Amharic and English.
Comfortable with cold calling, door-to-door outreach, and approaching strangers to pitch the product.
Self-disciplined and self-motivated — able to work independently without a boss watching over your shoulder.
Strong time management and planning skills — can organize your own daily route and schedule to maximize visits.
Resilient and thick-skinned — able to handle rejection and keep going.
Results-driven mindset — you understand that your income and success depend on hitting your target.
A go-getter attitude — you don’t wait for leads to come to you, you go find them.
