Job Position-1 Project Coordinator
Required Qualification and Experience
Education:Master’s Degree in Public Health, Development Studies, Rehabilitation Sciences, Project Management, or a related field — minimum 5 years of relevant experience.
- OR Bachelor’s Degree in Public Health, Rehabilitation/Disability Studies, Social Work, or a related discipline — minimum 7 years of relevant experience.
- Additional qualifications in disability-inclusive development, assistive technology, or project management are an added advantage.
Experience - Proven experience coordinating or managing multi-site health, rehabilitation, or development projects at project coordinator/manager level in an NGO setting.
- Demonstrated experience with community-based rehabilitation (CBR), assistive technology programming, or disability-inclusive development; mobile/outreach service delivery experience is a strong advantage.
- Experience managing multi-regional project implementation and working with government health and education structures (regional bureaus, woredas, health facilities).
- Familiarity with international donor project management, financial oversight, and reporting requirements (experience with Liliane Fonds or similar donors is an asset).
Skills and Attributes
- Strong project planning, coordination, and team supervision skills across geographically dispersed field teams.
- Proficiency in monitoring and evaluation, including indicator tracking, dashboard-based reporting (e.g., Kobo, Power BI), and results-based reporting.
- Solid financial literacy and budget management ability.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Amharic; knowledge of Afaan Oromo and/or Sidaamu Afoo is an advantage
- Deep commitment to disability inclusion, gender equity, and the rights of marginalized populations.
- Willingness and ability to travel frequently to remote and underserved woredas across Oromiya and Sidama.
Duty Stations:Addis Ababa (head office) and field bases in Bishoftu and Ambo (Oromiya) and Hawassa (Sidama), covering 20 target woredas
Job Position-2 Mobile Rehabilitation Unit Field Team Lead (Rehabilitation Technician)
Required Qualification and Experience
Education:Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Physiotherapy, Occupational Therapy, Prosthetics and Orthotics, or a related rehabilitation discipline.
- Professional certification/registration as a rehabilitation technician or equivalent recognized qualification.
Experience - Minimum 3 years of relevant clinical or field experience in prosthetics, orthotics, physiotherapy, or community-based rehabilitation.
- Experience with mobile outreach, community-based service delivery, or NGO field programs is a strong advantage.
- Experience working with children and youth with disabilities is highly desirable.
Location:MRU-1 (Oromiya Central: Adama, Dukem, Bishoftu, Modjo, Sendafa); MRU-2 (Oromiya: Sheger City, Holeta, Ejere, Ginchi, Ambo, Tulubolo, Teji, Woliso); MRU-3 (Sidama: all 7 woredas, rotating schedule)
Job Position-3 Community Mobilizer
Required Qualification and Experience
Education:Diploma or Level 5 in community health, social work, public health, or a related field; equivalent relevant experience will also be considered.
Experience
- Minimum 1–2 years of experience in community mobilization, health outreach, social work, or disability-related community programs.
- Prior experience or lived proximity to disability issues, or work with OPDs/CBOs, is highly desirable.
- Experience working with children, youth, and their families in a rural community setting is an advantage.
Location:Local hire, based in target woredas of Oromiya and Sidama
Job Position-4 Assistive Technology (AT) Maintenance Specialist & Driver
Required Qualification and Experience
Education:Technical/vocational certificate in automotive mechanics, general mechanics, assistive technology/prosthetic-orthotic technology, or a related technical field. Experience
- Minimum 2 years of experience as a driver and/or in vehicle/equipment maintenance; experience with motorbikes or motorized tricycles preferred.
- Prior experience in assistive device maintenance, workshop/technical repair work, or a related hands-on technical role is an advantage.
- Experience working in rural or remote field settings is desirable.
Place Of Work: MRU field bases in Bishoftu, Ambo, and Hawassa, with travel across assigned woredas
