Job Position-Cost Accountant
Required Qualification and Experience
Education:Identify fixed and variable costs for each service and sales and prepare cost sheet at reasonable estimates
Project the income based on previous data and report forecasted income.
Advice price adjustment on service and sales income based on present and future trends
Handle inventory movement in collaboration with the store, pharmacy and finance department and maintain up to date balance
Regularly report any discrepancy on inventory balances and damaged or obsolete items.
Handle approved budget utilization as per the categorized items and report or advice on underutilized or over utilized budget items
Based on the existing budget prepare the next fiscal year budget using incremental budget systems
Maintain fixed asset register using excels sheet as per the standard register format and report for any damage or disposal fixed assets before the end of the year.
Prepare fixed asset tags that describes the kind of fixed asset, location and item number and fix these stickers on the assets
Participate and lead annual inventory and fixed asset controls
Perform other duties assigned by the finance manager
Responsibilities
Manage and review cost elements of services and drug sales on quarterly basis
Maintain up to date inventory balances and report regularly
Exclusively handle budget system and report its utilization on quarterly basis
Maintain fixed asset register using Excel Sheet as per the standard requirement
