Job Position-Senior Electrician
Required Qualification and Experience
Education: 10+3/Diploma in Electricity from a recognized technical school, level IV TVET (MUST)/ alternatively BA in electrical engineering.
- Excellent English (MUST)
- Excellent Numerical Skills (MUST)
- Microsoft office (ADVANTAGE)
- Experience of at least 2 years in maintenance activity in an industrial maintenance environment preferably similar company
- Valid Driving License
- Ability to use and understand technical drawings, specifications, and service manuals
- Physically fit, Reliable and available to work rotating 8-hour shifts (including weekends).
- Team player, self-disciplined, honest with high integrity.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Preventative and responsive maintenance efforts on electrical and instrumentation equipment
- Troubleshooting and repairing Electric parts of machines and equipment.
- Assists Maintenance Manager in establishing schedules and methods for providing preventive maintenance and repair services.
- Overhauling equipment parts in the maintenance shop.
- Maintains safety, quality and housekeeping in job areas.
- Operates machines and other equipment to observe operation and diagnose malfunctions or to test repaired equipment.
- Ability to read, follow, understand, communicate schematics
- Prepares accurate and timely service reports for the jobs completed and submits them on time.
- Maintains and secures work tools.
- Completes all tasks accurately & punctually so that the Nursery will function safely & efficiently.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
- Report as required to managers.
