Job Position-Electrician (Sebeta Plant)
Required Qualification and Experience
Education:The position requires a minimum of bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or related field of studies
Minimum 3 years’ experience.
Experience in FMCG preferably in beverages would be an advantage
Understand wiring diagrams
Hands on technical skills rectifying electrical malfunctions
Troubleshooting skills and methods.
Purpose of the Job
To independently execute maintenance tasks during shifts, ensuring equipment uptime and supporting production reliability. Acts as the first responder to breakdowns and a key support for operators. Performs skilled work in the installation, maintenance, troubleshooting and calibration of electrical, instrumentation and automation equipment in the assigned area by applying inspection techniques, understanding wiring diagrams, working principles of components and maintenance criteria. The role involves monitoring, troubleshooting, repairing, adjusting installing, operating and testing or otherwise servicing automated, electromechanical, or electro-pneumatic equipment in support of efficient machine operations. The role is devised to unleash machine capability and reduce down-time and related losses towards the end goal of producing iconic beverage products that continuously exceed the quality, safety & environmental standards and targets prescribed in BGI Ethiopia’s food safety and QSHE policy.
