Job Position-Finance Officer
Required Qualification and Experience
Education:BA degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
More than 2 years of progressive experience in finance, accounting, or operations
Experience in Financial Services firm, experience in trade settlement, reconciliation, and client fund segregation is highly desirable.
A recognized capital market certification (e.g., CISI, ESX Academy, ECMA training,) is strongly preferred.
Behavioral competencies:
Integrity & Ethics: Must demonstrate the highest ethical standards and maintain strict confidentiality over client and proprietary information as required by ESX Trading Rules.
Attention to Detail: Meticulous approach to identifying and preventing financial errors, unauthorized transactions, and fund misappropriation.
Analytical & Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to investigate and resolve complex trade reconciliations and settlement breaks.
Communication: Strong written and verbal communication skills for preparing reports for management and regulatory authorities.
Regulatory Awareness: Understanding of and commitment to compliance with ESX Rules, ECM Directives, and AML/CFT requirements
INDEPENDENCE AND CONFIDENTIALITY
The Finance Officer shall maintain strict confidentiality regarding client information, investigations, regulatory matters, and proprietary information, except where disclosure is required by law or regulatory authorities.
REPORTING
The Finance Officer reports to the Senior Finances Officer.
