Job Position-Procurement & Imports Officer
Required Qualification and Experience
Education:Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
Experience: Minimum of 3 years of hands-on import documentation and logistics experience in Ethiopia.
Hard Skills
System Proficiency: Deep operational knowledge of the Ethiopian Single Window system.
Documentation: Expert-level mastery of L/C, CAD, commercial invoices, packing lists, and Bills of Lading.
Technical Familiarity: Prior experience importing electronic components, solar equipment, or manufacturing raw materials is highly preferred.
Soft Skills
Problem Solving: Ability to navigate bureaucratic delays and logistics bottlenecks independently.
Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and Amharic.
Detail-Oriented: High accuracy in verifying shipping documents to prevent customs penalties.
Compensation & Benefits
Salary: ETB 30,000 – 40,000 gross per month (negotiable based on depth of experience).
