Job Position-Accountant
Required Qualification and Experience
Education:Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Management or closely related fields
1 – 2 years of experience in accounting
Aptitude for math, proficiency with computers.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
High level of efficiency, accuracy, and responsibility.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare and post journal entries accurately and on time in Accounting software
Perform daily, weekly, and monthly reconciliations for bank, cash, inventory, receivable, and payable accounts.
Support monthly closing activities and financial reporting processes.
Assist and oversee inventory, spare part, asset, and tools counts, ensuring proper reconciliation and documentation.
Monitor spare part movement and maintain accurate inventory records within the system.
Supervise and Maintain updating of financial data and files within company databases to ensure accuracy and immediate availability of information
Coordinate with operations and warehouse teams to ensure accurate inventory recording
Ensure proper documentation and filing of accounting and inventory-related transactions.
Review expense reports and supporting documents to ensure compliance with company policies and internal controls.
Support payroll preparation and maintain payroll-related schedules and reconciliations.
Assist in process improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and internal controls.
Prepare regular financial and operational reports as required by management.
Support audit activities by preparing schedules, reconciliations, and supporting documents.
Provide guidance and support to junior accounting staff when required.
Perform other duties assigned by the supervisor.
