Job Position-senior finance and operations officer
Required Qualification and Experience
Education:Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related business field from a recognized university.
Experience: Minimum of five (5) years of progressive, hands-on experience in accounting and corporate finance, with at least two (2) years in a senior, supervisory, or managerial role.
Tax & Statutory Knowledge: Demonstrated, expert-level understanding of Ethiopian tax laws, Ministry of Revenue procedures, payroll taxation, and statutory compliance.
Software Proficiency: Hands-on experience with modern accounting ERP systems (e.g., Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central, QuickBooks, Peachtree) and advanced MS Excel skills.
Operations Oversight: Proven experience managing office administration, procurement contracts, or general business operations alongside core financial duties.
Preferred Qualifications:
Professional Certification: ACCA, CPA, or an equivalent professional accounting qualification (completed or in advanced stages).
Industry Experience: Previous financial and operational experience within technology companies, ICT consultancy, or project-based professional service firms.
Financial Standards: Practical familiarity with International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) implementation.
