Job Position-Senior Accountant
Required Qualification and Experience
Education:Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field.
Minimum 5–6 years of relevant accounting experience.
Strong practical knowledge of Ethiopian tax regulations and tax compliance procedures.
Demonstrated experience handling Gebeyoch and other tax-related responsibilities.
Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.
Experience with accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
Strong organizational and time-management skills.
Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
Professional integrity and the ability to handle confidential financial information.
Must be based in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia and able to work in a hybrid environment.
Preferred Qualifications
Professional accounting certification or additional finance/tax training is an advantage.
Experience dealing with Ethiopian tax authorities and tax assessments is highly preferred.
Experience working with ERP or accounting systems is an advantage.
