Job Position -Accountant
Required Qualification and Experience
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field from a recognized university.
Experience: At least five years of relevant practical experience in accounting and finance.
Disbursement and tax expertise: At least two years of experience as a disbursement accountant and strong knowledge of local tax requirements.
Proficiency with Quicken or QuickBooks, Microsoft Excel, databases, and related financial software.Previous experience working with U.S. Department of State projects and nongovernmental organizations is desirable.
Fluency in English and Amharic.
Strong personal organization and attention to detail.Ability to work effectively in a multicultural environment.
Willingness to travel extensively within and outside the region
