Job Position -Manager, Market & Trading Operations
Required Qualification and Experience
Education: Master’s degree in finance, Economics, Business Administration, Statistics, Data Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or another relevant field.
Experience:Minimum of eight (8) years of relevant professional experience, preferably with exposure to financial markets, trading operations, market infrastructure, financial analysis, or related areas.
Competencies and Skills
Strong understanding of capital markets, trading operations, market infrastructure, and applicable regulatory frameworks.
CISI certification is a plus.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret market data, trends, and operational information.
Good understanding of electronic trading systems and related market infrastructure.
Ability to develop and improve operational processes, procedures, and controls.
Strong stakeholder management and relationship-building skills.
Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with senior management, market participants, regulators, and other stakeholders.
Strong organizational and project management skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and high-intensity environment.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel; knowledge of databases and other relevant systems is an advantage.
Sound judgment, integrity, and commitment to market integrity and regulatory compliance.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a dynamic environment.
Adaptability, ownership, and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
Fluency in English and Amharic.
