Job Position– Audit Associate (Assistant)
Required Qualification and Experience
Education:BSc Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Management or related fields
Experience & Knowledge
Minimum two years’ experience as an Associate in Internal audit, Internal or External Audit, Compliance Officer, etc.Proficiency with Microsoft application suites and different accounting softwareExperience, Knowledge and understanding of current financial management and affairs of a school setup, especially in an International School
Skills
Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant accounting information with attention to detail and accuracy Ability to innovate and manage time efficiently
Ability to communicate efficiently and effectively both in writing and speaking
Proficiency in Englis
Duties and Responsibilities Under the direction and supervision of the Head of Internal Audit and Oversight, reviews the school’s accounting system, cash management, stock control, purchase of goods and services, etc., and school operations in line with the school’s policies and procedures.
Reviews and appraises the soundness, adequacy, and effectiveness of the accounting, financial, and other operating controls of the company.
Ascertains the extent to which assets are accounted for and safeguarded from losses of all kinds.
Reviews external audit reports findings that need corrective actions.
Follows up on the adequacy of actions taken by the finance function to correct the weaknesses reported in the previous audit reports.
