Job Position-Senior Accountant
Required Qualification and Experience
Education:BA Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field from an accredited university.
Professional certifications (such as ACCA or IFRS certification) are highly advantageous.
Experience:Minimum of 5 years of progressive accounting experience, with at least 3 years actively serving as a Senior Accountant.
Direct experience working within the import/export sector, general trading, or the Ethiopian coffee industry is strongly preferred.
Technical & Soft Skills
Software Proficiency: Advanced skills using accounting software such as Peachtree, QuickBooks, or corporate ERP systems.
Regulatory Knowledge: Deep, up-to-date understanding of International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) and Ethiopian tax regulations.
Core Skills: Excellent analytical capabilities, sharp problem-solving skills, and strict time-management strengths.
Languages: Strong professional communication skills in both English and Amharic.
