Job Position-Salesperson
Required Qualification and Experience
Education:Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Logistics, Business Management or related field.
Work experience required:2 to 5 years of experience in sales, preferably within the freight forwarding, logistics, and transportation, or related industries.
Key Responsibilities
Proactively identify, target, and acquire new clients requiring international shipping and logistics solutions through market research, lead generation, networking, and direct sales activities.
Develop and convert new shipment opportunities by understanding customer logistics needs, proposing tailored FCL and LCL solutions, and securing long-term service agreements.
Manage the full sales cycle from prospecting and client onboarding to quotation, negotiation, and order confirmation, ensuring consistent growth in shipment volumes and revenue.
Build, strengthen, and sustain long-term relationships with both new and existing clients to ensure customer retention and revenue growth.
Proactively follow up with clients throughout the sales cycle and post-sale to ensure satisfaction and repeat business.
Collaborate closely with documentation, operations, and customer service teams to ensure seamless and efficient service delivery.
Prepare accurate daily, weekly, monthly and quarterly sales performance reports, forecasts, and pipeline updates for management.
