Dafa, a subsidiary of the Hong Kong – based STPP Group, has 11 production enterprises, 2 domestic trading firms, and 2 import – export companies. After over 30 years, the group has integrated the chemical industry’s upstream and downstream, covering raw materials, packaging, (semi -)finished products, equipment, and production lines.
Established in 2019, Dafa Soap & Detergent Manufacturing PLC in Ethiopia initially focused on washing powder. In 2022, it introduced a liquid detergent production line, making various liquid products like laundry, hand, dishwashing, multi – purpose, glass cleaner, bleach, etc. In 2023, to meet the high demand for high – quality jerry cans for its liquid products, a new advanced plastic production line was introduced.
Now, Dafa runs two well – known brands, Suppow, Azzy, and Acer, with over 80 SKUs. Its distribution system serves consumers nationwide. Besides satisfying consumer needs with quality products, Dafa has introduced new technologies and management skills, training many Ethiopian workers, boosting the local detergent and cosmetic industry.
Position – Clearance Staff
Required Qualification and Experience:
Female only; College graduate or above; experience in customs clearance is preferred.
Proficient in English, Amharic, with excellent listening, speaking, and writing skills; able to accurately translate between these languages.
Good computer skills, careful with work, strong communication ability.
Prepare and check customs documents for imported goods.
Communicate with customs officers and freight agents to follow up clearance and delivery.
Keep records of all customs paperwork and support finance team for reconciliation.
Handle daily clearance issues and maintain good local business relations.
