Job Position-2 Feedlot Veterinarian
Required Qualification and Experience
Education:Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree from a recognized university.
Experience
Minimum of 2–4 years of experience in clinical veterinary practice, with demonstrated expertise in livestock production and feedlot operations is a plus.
Core Competencies
Strong diagnostic, analytical, and problem-solving skills to address herd-level health challenges.
Sound knowledge of cattle health, nutrition, and production systems.
Good understanding of Ethiopian agro-ecological conditions and locally available feed resources.
Experience in developing preventive health programs and implementing biosecurity measures.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to train and supervise farm personnel.
Proficiency in maintaining veterinary records and analyzing herd performance data.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a dynamic production environment.
