Job Position-Transport Officer
Required Qualification and Experience
Education:Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Transport Management, Business Management, or related fields.
Experience: Minimum 2 years and above experience in transport coordination, logistics operations, or customer delivery management.
Technical Skills:
Good understanding of transportation and logistics operations.
Experience in managing third-party transporters and drivers.
Basic knowledge of inventory, warehouse, and delivery processes.
Good reporting and documentation skills.
Proficiency in MS Excel and ERP systems is an advantage.
Competencies:
Strong communication and coordination skills.
Good problem-solving ability.
Ability to work under pressure and meet delivery deadlines.
Strong attention to detail and follow-up skills.
Customer service-oriented mindset.
Preferred Experience
Experience in manufacturing, FMCG, or industrial product delivery operations is an advantage.
Experience managing closed trucks, customer deliveries, and transport documentation is preferred.
Key Responsibilities
Plan, coordinate, and monitor daily customer deliveries.
Arrange suitable transport vehicles according to delivery requirements.
Coordinate with drivers, transporters, warehouse, and customers to ensure smooth delivery operations.
Follow up delivery status and obtain signed delivery notes from customers.
Maintain accurate transport records, including vehicle details, delivery schedules, and transporter performance.
Monitor transportation costs and support cost optimization initiatives.
Ensure vehicles and drivers comply with company safety requirements.
Support investigation and resolution of delivery-related issues and customer complaints.
Prepare daily and periodic transport performance reports.
