Job Position-1 Victim and Survivor Engagement Advisor
Required Qualification and Experience
Education:University degree in Human Rights, Psychology, Social Work, Transitional Justice, Law, Political Science, Peace and Security/ Conflict Studies or a related field.
Professional Experience
5 years of professional experience in implementing donor-funded projects, managing grants and partnerships with civil society organizations, and capacity development for partners in an NGO or international development context.
5 years of professional experience in supporting the organizational development, capacity building and networking of survivors associations/victim associations, or experience of di-rect cooperation with highly vulnerable target groups such a victims and survivors of con-flict, conflict-related sexual violence, torture, displament and other atrocities.
Strong knowledge of transitional justice, peacebuilding, MHPSS, gender, and victim-centred approaches, with experience-supporting projects or academic background in two or more of these thematic areas.
Demonstrated understanding of the perspectives and priorities of victims and survivors across Ethiopia’s conflict-affected regions, gained through professional or lived experience.
Excellent communication and coordination skills, gender competence, empathy and inter-personal skills, with demonstrated ability to build effective partnerships with diverse stakeholders
Job Position-2 Refugee Education Transition Advisor
Required Qualification and Experience
Education:Master’s degree in education, Education Planning, Education Management, Teacher Education, Public Policy, Political Science or another relevant discipline.
Professional experience
Five years of relevant professional experience in education sector development, education systems strengthening or education reform, including within the context of international development cooperation.
Demonstrated experience in providing technical advisory services to government institutions, supporting the implementation of sector reforms, institutional change processes and capacity development initiatives.
Proven experience in coordinating multi-stakeholder processes involving government institutions, development partners and implementing organisations, including the management of technical assistance and consultants.
Experience in teacher development, education planning, education quality, education management or related areas is highly desirable.
Experience with refugee education or displacement contexts is a strong advantage.
