Job Position-Junior Safety Officer
Required Qualification and Experience
Education:Bachelor’s degree in environmental science, Safety, Medical Laboratory Science.
Additional Training Certification in health and safety is preferred.
Minimum 2–3 years’ experience in a laboratory or healthcare safety role.
Familiarity with ISO 15189, JCI, CLSI guidelines, and relevant national health and safety laws.
License renewal certificate.
REQUIRED COMPETENCIES
Technical Competencies:
Develop, implement and improve company quality standards and follow strategy to increase productivity
Knowledge of document writing, review and critical thinking.
Ability and knowledge to implement internal audit.
Review non-conforming events including internal audit reports.
Basic knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Pawer Point, other internet-based platforms communication and good practice of soft skill.
Follow company rules and regulations.
Capable of training and influencing others to adopt safe practices.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively across teams.
Behavioral Competencies:Proper communication and interpersonal skills.
High level of numerical, analytical and reporting skills.
Basic knowledge of occupational health safety principles, laboratory safety practices.
Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
Ability to work with diverse teams.
Strong attention to detail and compliance-oriented mindset.
Maintain high level of honesty and integrity.
