Job Position-SENIOR ACCOUNTANT
Required Qualification and Experience
Education:Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.Minimum 4 years of relevant accounting experience.
Previous experience in an import/export, trading, distribution, or similar company is highly preferred.
Strong knowledge of Ethiopian accounting and tax requirements.
Experience with financial reporting, bank reconciliation, tax, inventory, and general ledger management.
Good understanding of import/export financial transactions and documentation.
Experience using accounting/ERP software.Strong Excel skills and ability to work with financial data.
Good analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
High level of integrity, accuracy, confidentiality, and attention to detail.
Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
Preferred Candidate
Preference will be given to candidates who have demonstrated experience in:Import and export accounting
Foreign currency transactions
Inventory and cost accountingTax reporting and compliance
Financial reporting and analysis
ERP/accounting systems
Trading or vehicle/import-related businesses
Requirement Skill
Attention to detailAnalytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
Accounting Principles (GAAP), IFRS and ERP
