Job Position-Reception Cashier
Required Qualification and Experience
Education:Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Management, or a related field.
Minimum 2 years of relevant experience, preferably in a hospital, clinic, hotel, or other customer-facing service environment.
Previous experience as a cashier or reception cashier is highly desirable.
Experience with POS systems and computerized billing systems is an advantage.
Experience with BRISK or hospital management systems is highly preferred.
Strong numerical and cash-handling skills.
Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work under pressure in a busy healthcare environment.
Professional appearance, positive attitude, and strong customer-service orientation.
Willingness to work shifts, weekends, and holidays as required.
Key Responsibilities
Welcome and professionally assist patients, attendants, and visitors at the reception area.
Receive and process patient payments accurately through approved payment methods.
Issue receipts and maintain accurate daily cash and transaction records.
Register patients and support accurate patient information entry in the hospital system.
Handle cash, POS, bank transfers, and other authorized payment transactions.
Reconcile daily collections and promptly report discrepancies.
Coordinate with Finance, Billing, Insurance, and clinical departments when required.
Provide clear information regarding services, fees, and payment procedures.
Maintain confidentiality of patient and financial information.
Support smooth patient flow and deliver excellent customer service.
Perform other duties assigned by the supervisor or management.
