Job Position -Financial Accountant
Required Qualification and Experience
Education:Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
Experience: Minimum 3–5 years of relevant accounting experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
Technical Skills: Good knowledge of financial accounting, month-end closing, AP/AR, cash flow, taxation, and financial reporting.
Compliance: Sound understanding of local tax regulations and statutory accounting requirements.
Systems: Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting/ERP systems.
Competencies: Strong numerical accuracy, analytical and problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to meet deadlines.
Behavioral: High integrity, accountability, teamwork, effective communication, and alignment with company values.
Key Responsibilities
Support timely and accurate month-end and year-end closing activities.
Prepare financial reports, including Profit & Loss and Balance Sheet, as required.
Prepare cash flow reports and support effective cash flow management and forecasting.
Review and verify invoices, claims, and other financial documents for accuracy and validity.
Process and monitor Accounts Payable (AP) transactions in line with company financial policies.
Follow up on outstanding Accounts Receivable (AR) and support timely collection.
Prepare and process tax filings, tax payments, and tax returns in accordance with applicable regulations.
Investigate and resolve accounting discrepancies and ensure proper supporting documentation.
Maintain accurate financial records and ensure compliance with internal controls and company procedures.
Demonstrate the company’s core values, integrity, accountability, and teamwork in day-to-day activities.
