Job Position-Senior Compliance Management Officer
Required Qualification and Experience
Education:Knowledge of Ethiopian banking laws, NBE directives, and applicable regulatory requirements.
Compliance risk identification and assessment.
Regulatory interpretation and monitoring.
Compliance testing, review, and reporting.
AML/CFT and KYC principles.
Policy and procedure development.
Report writing, documentation, and record management.
Data analysis and proficiency in standard office applications.
Knowledge of interest-free banking operations and Shariah compliance requirements.
Confidentiality and discretion.
. Job Purpose
To support the effective implementation and continuous improvement of the Bank’s compliance management framework by monitoring adherence to applicable laws, regulations, directives, internal policies, procedures, and Shariah-related requirements within the scope of the compliance function. The position identifies and assesses compliance risks, conducts compliance reviews, monitors regulatory developments, coordinates corrective actions, and provides professional guidance to business units to promote a strong culture of compliance, ethical conduct, and regulatory accountability.
