Job Position-Commercial Manager
Required Qualification and Experience
Education:Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field
10–12 years of experience in commercial management, sales, and marketing within FMCG, agriculture, or seeds industry
At least 5 years in a senior leadership role managing sales managers or multi-functional teams
Strong financial acumen: P&L, budgets, and pricing strategies
Proven ability to translate market insights into actionable commercial strategies
Key Responsibilities
Define and implement commercial strategy for Seeds and Crop Protection portfolios
Identify growth areas, evaluate market trends, and build business cases for new products and partnerships
Own the P&L for commercial divisions
Lead, mentor, and manage Sales Managers across Seeds and Chemicals
Oversee Marketing to ensure brand guidelines and campaigns are executed in the field
Foster cross-functional collaboration between Sales, Marketing, Supply Chain, and Finance
Optimize go-to-market model: dealer management, pricing, and distribution logistics
Manage A&P budget for optimal ROI
Implement sales forecasting, demand planning, and inventory liquidation processes
