Job Position-SENIOR ACCOUNTANT
Required Qualification and Experience
Education:Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance or related field. Master’s Degree, ACCA, CPA or equivalent professional qualification is an advantage.
Minimum 5–7 years of relevant accounting experience, preferably with at least 2–3 years in a senior accounting position.
Experience in oil and gas, petroleum distribution, FMCG or another high-volume inventory-based business is strongly preferred.
Required Competencies:Strong knowledge of financial and management accounting.
Good understanding of fuel/inventory accounting and reconciliation.
Strong knowledge of Ethiopian tax requirements and statutory reporting.
Ability to analyse financial statements, margins and operating costs.
Strong bank, customer and supplier reconciliation skills.Proficiency in ERP/accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
High numerical accuracy and attention to detail.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Ability to supervise and develop junior accounting staff.
Good communication and coordination skills.
High level of integrity, confidentiality and professional ethics.
