Job Position- 1 Principal ESG Analyst I
Required Qualification and Experience
Education: Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant discipline, preferably environmental engineering, environmental or social studies; development studies / development finance; or a similar area.
Master’s Degree in environmental engineering, environmental or social studies; development studies / development finance; or a similar area is an added advantage.
Experience:Minimum of six (6) years relevant experience
Functional/Technical Competencies
Data analysis, interpretation and reporting: Ability to analyze and interpret data to gain insights and make informed decisions related to environmental, social, and governance aspects.Applied knowledge.
Applied knowledge ESG principles and frameworks: Understanding of the principles, concepts, and frameworks that guide sustainable and responsible business practices.
Performance monitoring and evaluation : Ability to quantify the social, environmental, and economic effects of an various activities of the Bank.ESG risk assessment.
ESG risk assessment :Ability in identifying, evaluating, and managing potential ESG factors that could impact the financial performance, reputation, or long-term sustainability of an investment in the Bank.
Job Position- 2 Research and Business Development Specialist I for Addis Ababa
Required Qualification and Experience
Education: Bachelor Degree in Economics, Business Administration, Management and/or related fields.
Experience:At least Six (6) years’ relevant experience.
Functional/Technical Competencies
Experience in analytical tools and research methodologies: Ability to use business data and statistical methods via analytical tools and research methodologies to provide insight into business performance and suggest areas and methods of improving operations.
Root cause analysis: Capacity to recognize business challenges, analyze root causes, and embrace innovative ideas and strategies to provide effective solutions through research and business development undertakings.
Trend analysis: Ability to examine historical data to identify patterns and trends over time to forecast future outcomes, make informed decisions, and adjust strategies based on evolving market conditions and customer behaviors.
Data analysis and contextualization: Ability to analyze data and uncover patterns, trends, and insights to understand its broader implications and translate them into actionable knowledge for informed decisions.
Market intelligence: Ability to gather, analyze, and interpret information about market trends, customer behavior, competitor activities, and industry developments
