Job Position-Health Officer
Required Qualification and Experience
Education:BSc Degree in Nursing /Public Health (Health Officer background preferred).
Valid professional license (COC/registration) is an advantage.
Strong knowledge of occupational health and workplace safety principles.
Knowledge of emergency care, first aid procedures, and accident response.
Experience in industrial or factory health services is highly preferred.
Knowledge of communicable disease prevention and health promotion programs.
Ability to maintain accurate medical records and prepare reports. Good computer skills (MS Word, Excel, email reporting).
Good English communication skills is an advantage.
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
Effectiveness in emergency response and first aid service delivery. Workplace health risk identification and reporting.
Employee health awareness training delivery. Medical supply and first aid inventory management.
Compliance with workplace health and safety standards. Teamwork and coordination with compliance and HR departments.
Safeguarding of CARVICO ETHIOPIA PLC assets and medical supplies.
Experience:5 years and above in Public Health Nursing.
