Job Position-Resource and Asset Management (RAM) Senior Officer
Required Qualification and Experience
Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Asset Management or a closely related field.
Master’s Degree and/or professional certifications are an advantage.
Specialized training in heavy equipment maintenance, fleet/asset management, procurement and supply chain or mining operations is an advantage.
Minimum 5+ years of relevant professional experience, preferably in mining, construction, heavy equipment, manufacturing or another asset-intensive industry.
Proven experience in equipment/fleet management, maintenance, inventory and alternatively procurement, supply chain and logistics.
Demonstrated experience managing heavy equipment such as excavators, dump trucks, dozers, loaders, generators, pumps and processing/washing plants.
Strong experience in spare-parts planning and inventory control.
Experience in asset lifecycle management, CAPEX/OPEX budgeting and equipment cost analysis.
Experience with ERP, CMMS, fleet-management or asset-management systems is highly desirable.
Experience supporting remote mining or construction sites is an advantage.
KEY SKILLS & COMPETENCIES Resource & Asset Management and asset lifecycle management; equipment, fleet and maintenance management.
Preventive, corrective and scheduled maintenance planning; spare-parts forecasting and critical inventory management.
Warehouse, stores, inventory, logistics and transportation management.
Budgeting, cost control, Total Cost of Ownership (TCO), equipment utilization, availability and downtime analysis.
Familiarity with ERP systems, particularly asset management, maintenance, inventory, procurement and supply-chain modules.
Familiarity with CMMS, fleet-management and/or asset-management systems.
Strong Microsoft Excel and management-reporting skills; strong analytical, problem-solving and decision-making skills.
Strong communication and team player skills; high integrity, accountability and commercial awareness.
Ability to work under pressure and travel frequently to remote mining/project sites.
Strong commitment to ethical conduct, asset accountability and Company policies.
