Job Position- Junior Accountant
Required Qualification and Experience
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Accounting and Finance, or a related field.
One to two [1–2] years of relevant accounting experience. Fresh graduates with strong internship or practical exposure may be considered.
Basic hands-on experience in cost accounting and account reconciliation.
Working knowledge of Peachtree (Sage 50) Accounting software.
Practical knowledge of Ethiopian tax laws and reporting to Ethiopian revenue authorities (VAT, withholding tax, employment income tax, pension).
Good skills in Microsoft Excel and Word.
Accurate, organized and honest, with the ability to meet deadlines.
Good spoken and written Amharic and English.
Experience in international trade or manufacturing is an advantage.
