Job Position 1 – Shift Electrical Engineer

JOB SUMMARY
To coordinate, coach, and control the activities of the level one Electrical maintenance teams in the production environment and to provide specialist technical advice.
Key Responsibilities
Develop the planned corrective team by discipline, leadership, and coaching
Record all the activities on log book before handing over the shift.
Check stock levels and order spare parts with the maintenance planner.
Maintain all tools, equipment, and working areas in good condition.
Maintain smooth operation of machines during the shift
Plan and execute tasks based on their priority.
Support the production team to minimize losses
Assess the performance of shift technicians according to their performance
Manage electrical activities, modifications, rewiring and parameter registration
Lead and train the technicians in the shift on problems.
Participate in installation of new machines
Work in team environment and be able to meet daily production goals.
Manage routine maintenance on a production machines
Manage and Carry out inspection and cleaning on Motors, MCCR panels, Fans and filters.
Manage work orders and tags raised.
Manage and perform calibration and modifications.
Read and interpret machine electrical drawings.
Perform any other job assigned by the packaging engineer as and when required
Apply fault-finding techniques, conduct root cause failure analysis (RCFA) and regular plant inspections
report non-conformance and problems to packaging engineer as per the escalation procedure
Monitoring the operational conditions of machinery and equipment
Perform LOTO procedure on machines and /or equipment in preparation for maintenance.
Perform other duties given to him/her by his/her immediate leader.
Job Position 2- Machine Specialist
Required Qualification and Experience
Education:BSC/Level V in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
Experience:At least 5/6 years of relevant work experience with Packaging Machine.

JOB SUMMARY
To maintain, repair and optimize machines and associated devices to ensure machine availability, machine efficiencies, maintenance compliance, reduced breakdown, and product quality at minimum cost whilst maintaining standard.
Key Responsibilities: –
Monitors the performance of packaging machines.
Diagnoses faults and repairs them
Services machines in accordance with the service schedule
Overhaul the packaging machines with other team members
Monitors the age of machines with the view of determining whether or not it is economic to retain them
Ensure the quality of packaging processes at every stage.
Daily follow up of the operational out of control (OOC) situations
Recommends replacement of plant machinery when necessary
Record all the activities on log book.
Maintain all tools, equipment, and working areas in good condition.
Plan and execute tasks based on their priority.
Manage activities and modifications and its recording.
Work in team environment and be able to meet daily production goals.
Manage and carry out PM activities.
Manage PM checklists, work orders and tags raised.
Apply fault-finding techniques, conduct root cause failure analysis (RCFA) and regular plant inspections
Report non-conformance and problems to packaging engineer
Monitoring the operational conditions of machinery and equipment
Check and confirm the consumptions according to OEM / Krones standard.
Communicate with shift engineers about problems and work as a team.
Perform any other job assigned by the packaging engineer as and when required
Maintains the security of tools through regular checks and stock takes
Maintains the storage facility with respect to spares that are frequently used and replenishes them with the approval of the Plant Maintenance Supervisor
Check stock levels and order spare parts with maintenance planner.
