Job Position -Senior Accountant
Required Qualification and Experience
Education:Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
Experience:Minimum 6 years of relevant experience
Strong knowledge of IFRS and Ethiopian tax laws
ACCA/CPA certification is an advantage
Proficiency in Excel and accounting systems (Sage/ERP)
Requirement Skill
Accounting
Accounting Principles (GAAP), IFRS and ERP
Key Responsibilities
Prepare IFRS-compliant financial statements (monthly, quarterly, annual)
Manage general ledger, reconciliations, and journal entries
Oversee AP/AR, payroll, and statutory tax filings (VAT, TOT, WHT, Income Tax)
Support budgeting, forecasting, and cost control
Lead audit processes and ensure regulatory compliance
Supervise and support junior accounting staff
