Job Position -1 Junior Accountant URGENT HIRING
Required Qualification and Experience
Education:Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or related field
Minimum 2+ years of accounting experience
Basic understanding of Ethiopian tax and VAT regulations
Proficiency in MS Excel and accounting systems
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Good organizational and communication skills
Key Responsibilities
Record daily financial transactions accurately
Assist in preparing financial reports and summaries
Support accounts payable and receivable processes
Maintain and update accounting records and files
Assist in bank reconciliations and cash management
Support tax and VAT documentation preparation
Help track expenses, invoices, and payments
Assist senior accountant with reporting and audits

Required Qualification and Experience
Education:Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or related field
Minimum 5+ years of relevant accounting experience
Strong knowledge of Ethiopian tax system, VAT, and financial regulations
Experience in import/export or trading companies is highly preferred
Proficiency in accounting software and MS Excel
Strong analytical, organizational, and leadership skills
Key Responsibilities
Prepare and review financial statements and reports
Manage general ledger, reconciliations, and closing processes
Ensure compliance with Ethiopian tax laws, VAT, and regulatory requirements
Handle tax filings, audits, and liaise with external auditors
Monitor cash flow, budgeting, and financial planning
Oversee accounts payable and receivable
Ensure accurate recording of import-related costs (duties, taxes, forex, etc.)
Improve financial processes and internal controls
Supervise and support junior accounting staff
