Job Position- Call for Application: Graphic Designer
Required Qualification and Experience
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Fine Arts, Information Technology, or a related field; Alternatively, a Diploma or Certificate in Graphic Design, Multimedia, or a closely related discipline.
Minimum of two (2) years of proven professional experience as a Graphic Designer.
Strong portfolio demonstrating expertise in branding, digital content creation, and campaign materials.
Experience in motion graphics and basic video editing is highly desirable.
Competencies
Strong visual creativity and attention to detail
Proficiency in modern design tools such as Figma, Canva, and Affinity Designer
Good communication and collaboration skills
Time management and ability to handle multiple projects under deadlines
Problem-solving and creative thinking skills
Adaptability to new tools, trends, and technologies
Basic knowledge of branding and marketing principles
Attention to brand consistency and quality standards
Responsibilities:
Design compelling visual assets (infographics, social media graphics, reports, dashboards, and campaign materials) to communicate fact-checking results and key messages.
Transform verified data and analysis into easy-to-understand visual formats that promote information integrity.
Develop and maintain a consistent visual identity for the iVerify platform in alignment with CARD branding guidelines.
Collaborate with fact-checkers, communication teams, and project stakeholders to conceptualize and produce timely content during the election cycle.
Create rapid-response visuals to address emerging misinformation, disinformation, and hate speech narratives.
Ensure all designs are culturally sensitive, inclusive, and accessible to a wide audience.
Support digital campaigns by optimizing visuals for various platforms (web, mobile, and social media).
Revise and adapt designs based on feedback and evolving project needs.
