Job Position-CALL FOR SOFTWARE DEVELOPMENT COMPANY
Required Qualification and Experience
Education:Legally registered software development company with proven experience in e-commerce, marketplace, NGO, social enterprise, or livelihood platforms.
Demonstrated capacity in UI/UX design, web development, database design, cybersecurity, hosting/deployment, analytics, and technical documentation.
Ability to deliver mobile-responsive, secure, scalable, and easy-to-maintain systems.
Experience working with NGOs, humanitarian organizations, refugee/community projects, women-led initiatives, or donor-funded projects is an added advantage.
Availability of a multidisciplinary team, including project manager, system analyst, UI/UX designer, full-stack developer, QA tester, DevOps/hosting specialist, and trainer.
Commitment to data protection, safeguarding, confidentiality, and ethical technology practices.
Specific Objectives
Create a professional online marketplace where selected caregivers can list products/services and manage basic seller information.
Enable EFFR to review, approve, edit, promote, and monitor product/service listings through an administrator dashboard.
Support multilingual, mobile-friendly, and low-bandwidth access suitable for Addis Ababa and Gambella users.
Integrate digital marketing readiness, including SEO, social sharing, campaign landing pages, analytics, and product promotion features.
Generate reports on sellers, listed products/services, engagement, inquiries, and other indicators useful for project monitoring.
