Job Position–Junior Safety Officer
Required Qualification and Experience
Education:Bachelor’s degree in occupational health and safety, Environmental Science, Medical Laboratory Science. or a related field.
Certification in health and safety is preferred.
Minimum 2–3 years’ experience in a laboratory or healthcare safety role.
Familiarity with ISO 15189, JCI, CLSI guidelines, and relevant national health and safety laws.
License renewal certificate.
COMPETENCIES REQUIRED TO DO THE JOB
Technical Competencies:
Develop, implement and improve company quality standards and follow strategy to increase productivity
Knowledge of document writing, review and critical thinking.
Ability and knowledge to implement internal audit.
Review non-conforming events including internal audit reports.
Follow company rules and regulations.
Capable of training and influencing others to adopt safe practices.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively across teams.
