Job Position-Junior Accountant
Required Qualification and Experience
Education:Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
Compensation (Ethiopia Market Range)
Experience :0–2 years of experience
Exposure to trading, logistics, or inventory-based businesses is an advantage
Required Skills Technical Skills
Strong understanding of basic accounting principles
Familiarity with Ethiopian tax system (VAT, WHT)
Accounting software (Peachtree, ERP)
Strong Excel skills (mandatory)
Business-Specific Skills
Understanding of:
Landed cost calculation (imports)
Cost per ton & margin tracking (coal trading)
Ability to work with quantitative data (tons, pricing, transport costs)
High attention to detail in documentation and reconciliation
Soft Skills
High integrity and reliability
Strong organization and discipline
Ability to handle both low-volume precision work and high-volume transactions
Willingness to learn quickly
