Job Position-Cost Engineer
Required Qualification and Experience
Education:BSc in Civil Engineering, Construction Management or related fields.
Professional Experience
6 years and above

Duties and Responsibilities
Develop and manage cost estimates, budgets, and tender submissions for complex projects.
Analyze tender documents, drawings, specifications, and BOQs to identify scope and requirements.
Collaborate with engineering, procurement, and operations teams to gather input for pricing and methodology.
Conduct risk assessments and propose mitigation strategies for tendered projects.
Prepare bid clarifications, technical proposals, and commercial documentation.
Review and validate vendor and subcontractor quotations for accuracy and competitiveness.
Lead value engineering efforts to optimize cost without compromising quality.
Monitor market trends and pricing benchmarks to ensure competitive bids.
Participate in post-tender negotiations and contract finalization.
Maintain a database of historical costs and tender outcomes for future reference.
Perform any other relevant tasks as delegated and required by the company.
