Job Position-IT Specialist & CCTV Operator
Required Qualification and Experience
Education:Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Network Engineering, or a related field.
Experience: more than three years of experience in IT systems administration or technical support.
Technical Skills
Proficiency in network configuration (TCP/IP, Routing, Switching, VLANs, and Wi-Fi infrastructure).
Working knowledge of Windows Server environments and client OS.
Experience with Video Management Software (VMS) platforms and camera hardware alignment.
Soft Skills
Sharp Attention to Detail: Ability to spot anomalies or suspicious behavior across multiple video feeds.
Problem-Solving: Strong diagnostic skills for both software glitches and hardware failures.
Discretion & Integrity: High ethical standards regarding data privacy, sensitive security footage, and internal company information.
Communication: Ability to write clear incident reports and explain technical issues to non-technical team members.
Job Purpose
This dual-role position combines technical systems administration with active security surveillance. The ideal candidate will manage, maintain, and troubleshoot the organization’s IT infrastructure (servers, networks, client devices, and peripherals) while simultaneously overseeing the installation, configuration, and real-time monitoring of the Closed-Circuit Television (CCTV) and IP camera networks.
