Job Position 1 – Claims Officer – II

Required Qualification and Experience
Education: BA/BSC degree in Management /Accounting/ Marketing /Economics  or any other related field of study from a recognized  University
Work experience: A minimum of 4 years of relevant experience in  insurance operation as a Claim handling Position
Required Number: 2

Additional qualities & competencies Required
Facilitates claim process from beginning up to settlement of claim;
Assists customers to fill the claim notification form;
Prepares policy request form;
Assists in outstanding premium collection while entertaining claims;
Good oral and written communication skills
Dependable & team work

Job Position 2 – Branch Manager-II

Required Qualification and Experience
Education: BA/BSC Degree in Marketing/ Management / Economics/ Accounting /Statistics or any other related field of study from a recognized University
Work experience: A minimum of 7 years of relevant experience in insurance; 2 of which as a senior positions or equivalent

Additional qualities & competencies Required
Reviews and approves underwriting policies, endorsements, reinsurance and the like;
Handles claims of own branch and of others per company policy and delegated authority;
Undertakes business development and marketing activities to attract new customers; Good oral and written communication skills
Ensures that transaction are properly recorded and maintained;
Place of work:  Addis Ababa

Job Position 3 – Manager, Life Insurance Department

Required Qualification and Experience
Education: BA/BSC Degree in Management/ Accounting,/Marketing/ Economics or any other related field of study  from a recognized University or ACII/LOMA

Work experience: A minimum of 10 years of experience in insurance business; 3 years of which in senior managerial positions

Additional qualities & competencies Required
Plans, organizes, directs, administers, supervises the overall activities of Life and Health insurance business of the company;
Monitors the operational and financial activities of Life and Health main work unit;
Advices and supports supervisor in respect to life assurance fund administration and portfolio management;
Coordinates and directs the activities of the main work unit involving sales, underwriting and policy-owner services;
Coordinates and directs employees of the life and health main work unit in developing premium quotations and insurance coverage and ensure that they are processed adequately and timely;
Reviews and approves underwritings policies, endorsements, re-insurance and the like;
Place of work: Addis Ababa
