Required Qualification and Experience
Education: BA/BSc degree in nutrition, health, statistics, or social science fields with at least three quantitative data collection experience
Knowledge of Amharic PLUS any one of the local languages listed in the table.

Job Description

Johns Hopkins Center for Communication Programs (CCP) IFA/MMS Adherence Implementation Research Data collectors and Supervisors
With funding from the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation, the Johns Hopkins Center for Communication Programs-Ethiopia (CCP/Ethiopia) is conducting implementation research to develop and test prototype solutions that improve adherence to Iron Folic Acid (IFA) and Multiple Micronutrient Supplementation (MMS) among pregnant women. CCP developed prototype solutions using a Human Centered Design and would like to test in 16 woredas in four regions. CCP is looking for 64 female data collectors and 26 supervisors who will conduct field level data collection in the study woredas.

Roles and responsibilities
Participate in training and pretesting of data collectors and supervisors for five days.
Establish list of pregnant women per kebele using health center records
Recruit study participants as per the study protocol.
Administer consent with eligible study participants.
Conduct interviews at home with sampled individuals in local language.
Closely work with field supervisor and CCP/RME team

Terms of employment: Short term (25 days)
Workplace: Data collection at the assigned study woredas in the study regions
Reporting to: Field supervisors and CCP Senior RME Specialist
Table: Data collectors and supervisors required by Local language
