Job position 1-Grant Accounting (for definite period of 1 years with possible extension)
Required Qualification and Experience
Education: BA/MA/MBA/MSC in Accounting, Finance and Accounting or related fields of studies;
Professional certifications such as CPA, ACCA, CMA, CIA are highly preferred.
Experience:8/6 years of relevant work experience out of which 3 years of direct experience in managing grants from major donors.
Key Responsibilities
Oversee grant financial management, ensuring alignment with donor agreements, budgets, and reporting requirements.
Monitor and manage grant budgets, modifications, and financial reporting in collaboration with program teams.
Ensure accurate accounting and timely financial reporting for both internal and external stakeholders.
Track expenditures, reconcile accounts, and maintain proper cost allocations in line with approved budgets.
Ensure full compliance with donor guidelines, internal controls, financial policies, and audit standards.
Coordinate grant audits and financial reviews, maintaining complete and audit-ready documentation.
Stay informed on donor regulations and compliance updates, ensuring ongoing organizational readiness.
Support organizational budgeting and forecasting, contributing to financial planning and performance tracking.
Build capacity across teams by training staff on financial compliance and grant budget management.
Collaborate cross-functionally to integrate finance with program implementation for effective project delivery.
Job position 2-Pricing and Cost Analysis (for definite period of 1 years with possible extension)
Required Qualification and Experience
Education: BA/MA/MBA/MSC in Accounting, Finance and Accounting or related fields of studies;
Professional certifications such as CPA, ACCA, CMA are highly desirable.
Experience:8/6 years of relevant work experience out of which 3 years in costing, pricing, financial planning, or management accounting.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and implement pricing strategies that align with business objectives and market dynamics.
Analyze and manage product and service costs, ensuring cost transparency and efficiency across departments.
Design and maintain financial models to evaluate pricing impacts, profit margins, and break-even scenarios.
Support budgeting, forecasting, and business planning by integrating cost and pricing insights.
Ensure compliance with internal financial controls, pricing policies, and audit requirements.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams (IT, operations, procurement, etc.) to align pricing and cost structures with business performance.
Provide timely and accurate pricing and cost reports to senior management for decision-making.
Contribute to project bids and tenders by supplying cost and pricing inputs that ensure competitiveness and profitability.
Monitor market trends, customer behaviors, and competitor pricing to inform strategic pricing decisions.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives in cost control and pricing methodologies.
